- Volunteers are here to help you for Free!
- By submitting a Help Request, one of our volunteers will help you,
at a time of your choosing, to freely share their expertise in
solving your technical problem.
- We have expertise in Microsoft Windows, Apple products(iOS,
iPhones, iPads), Android devices(smart phones, tablets, etc.),
Chromebooks and Linux.
- We can also help you in a variety of other areas such as: social
media, Facebook, Twitter, Cutting the Cable, Streaming, Smart Homes,
Internet Security, home network & Home Surveillance.
- Help is provided by our volunteers for free on a "best effort"
basis and does not guarantee that all problems will be fixed.
However, we do have an extensive level of expertise to be shared.
CSTE
- CSTE Scheduled Classes -
These are all the classes presently scheduled for signup at MyCary.org. Clicking this link will bring up a pre-sorted list of just
our CSTE classes. There, you can signup for any of these scheduled classes.
- CSTE-All Classes we Teach - This will direct
you to our CSTE web site, caryseniorteched.org, where you can see the full library of classes and topics we offer.
These classes are offered during different teaching semesters through out the calendar year.(Summer, Fall-Winter, Spring)
When scheduled, they become available for signup on the MyCary.org web site.
Note: You can NOT sign up for classes until they are scheduled and become available on MyCary.org.

- Cary Senior Center Info - This is the Town of Cary's web page for Cary senior center specific information.
- MyCary.org - All Classes
- This directs you to the Town of Cary's class signup showing
all classes available for signup. All disiplines will be shown from exercise to CSTE classes.
You will need to create an ID to register for any classes.

- This is a list of just upcoming CSTE classes taught through the
Town of Cary. Hint: Search for: "Computer Education"

- If you are having problems with the "MyCary.org" web site.... logging on, passwords etc,
this is a shortcut to their help request submission. This link opens your email and addresses your request to the
Town Of Cary at: recreation.support@townofcary.org Explain your issue and hit send. Someone at the Town will respond
to your request.
- MyCary.org - How to create a logon - This help guide, provided by the Town of Cary,
details how to create a user logon to the MyCary.org web site so you
can register for classes on all offered topics.

- WebEx App Download - This is a shortcut to the WebEx.com downloads page. Here you can quickly download the lattest WebEx App for your device.
It can be used for a new installation of WebEx or a simple upgrade to the latest app version.
- Zoom - User's guide on how to use Zoom. Describes all the basic functions and installation of Zoom.
Includes how to setup a free Zoom account and hold personal Zoom conferences.
- Zoom App Download This is a shortcut to the Zoom.us downloads page. Here you can quickly download the

- Free Video Conferencing help can be scheduled by simply submitting
a help request. (Just click on the Help Request link above.)

Networking - Help and Debug
- SpeedTest.net - This will check
the performance of your internet connection using the "Speedtest.net" web site.
(Important for movie streaming and debugging home network performance.)
- Fast.com - This will check
the performance of your internet connection using the
"Fast.com". Several passes will be averaged before results are shown. Be sure to click the "Show more info" button for upload speeds.
- Speakeasy.net -
This will also check the performance of your internet connection using the "Speakeasy" web site. (Another well established network
performance monitoring web site.)
- Public IP Address
- This is your public internet IP address that web sites see. (Handy for checking your VPN service.)
